Originating from do-it-yourself roots, founder Shaney Jo Darden and friend Mona Mukherjea-Gehrig’s organized homegrown art and fashion events to showcase the works of friends, coworkers, and local kids. When a dear friend and artist was diagnosed with breast cancer, they used that progressive arts background to capture and communicate the physical and emotional challenges of the disease. Customized breast casts were produced and exhibited across the U.S. and Europe for nearly five years, raising funds benefiting breast cancer charities until Keep A Breast was born in 2005. Today, Keep A Breast empowers young people around the world with breast health education and support, including the Check Yourself Program and Check Yourself! App, to raise awareness on the importance of doing a monthly self-check. Visit KEEP A BREAST to learn more.
We are proud to donate $.05 of all deodorant sales to The Keep A Breast Foundation, in support of their breast cancer education and awareness programs.
