Apply to exposed skin before going outside. Because our Solar Goo sunscreen is all-natural, you may need to apply it more frequently. We think it's worth it to protect and nourish your skin naturally, and to protect reefs, rivers, and any other environments you may be playing in. We recommend reapplying every hour or so, or every 40 minutes if you're splashing in the water.

Only sunscreen I want to keep using

I’m autistic and have a lot of sensory issues with sunscreen having a chalky residue or burning my eyes. This is the first mineral reef-friendly sunscreen I’ve tried that doesn’t have any of those issues! It feels and smells like shea body butter, doesn’t irritate my eyes, and works just as well as other zinc sunscreen I have. It does leave a bit of a white tint like most zinc sunscreens, but it’s more shimmery than ghostly and goes away after a bit. Just wish it came in larger packages since I’m outdoors a lot in the summer.

Sunscreen

I like the packaging , and I like that it is so thick. I can get a bit on my finger and zero in on just where I want the protection. It fits great in my backpack, and doesn’t leak. It’s small enough that I will actually use it up over the year instead of having an oozing tube around for years.

Best Sunblock for Babies!

This is the best sunblock for babies! I have been using this on my little one (an myself) for a couple years now. It is such a nice application and fun for the baby. She never outs up a fight to put the sunblock on. Also... I never have to worry about the ingredients! I know she is getting nourishment and protection from Solar Goo! It also smells really nice... no weird sunblock smell. Thank you Green Goo for thinking of EVERYTHING!

Love this! So much better than anything else I've tried.

I started with a small container of this during the summer, and after my first time using it immediately bought a larger amount. It goes on so smooth and unlike other natural sunscreens doesn't leave me looking like a ghost. It also is gentle enough to put on my face without causing breakouts.

Protecting my tattoos since 2014

I've bought this product online and in stores multiple times. Compared to other zinc oxide based sun blocks, Solar Goo rubs in easily without leaving white residue, its comfortable to wear and its long lasting. Its the sunscreen I've been using to protect my tattoos for the past six years.

But why is it being marketed as a homeopathic sunscreen? Looks like it has something to do with listing Calendula as an active ingredient? (Even though in this case the Caledula is actually present in this product and not diluted away.) Seeing "Homeopathic" on a label usually makes me extremely skeptical of a products efficacy. I would hate for someone to get the impression that this is anything but a really good, really effective mineral sun block with a scientifically proven active ingredient.
