Our next Green Goo donation for the Season of Goodness is to Laurel Advocacy & Referral Services, Inc. We're sending them 60 gallons of hand sanitizer this week!
If you're new to the fun, each week until the end of 2020, Green Goo is going to donate gallons of hand sanitizer to organizations close to our hearts and to organizations you choose until we reach our goal of donating $100,000 worth of products. You can nominate a worthy organization by entering our Pay It Forward $500 Gift Basket Giveaway or, if you've already entered, you can stop by our website and nominate even more nurses, firefighters, or schools for the hand sanitizer giveaway!

We found out about Laurel Advocacy & Referral Services, Inc. (LARS) from your nominations. Then we chose them and a few others for our gift basket winner Kara Bergwick. LARS serves their community In Maryland through a food pantry, financial assistance, support for the housing, and more.
About LARS
LARS was founded in 1987 by a group of local congregation leaders and community members who sought a consolidated approach to responding to those who came to their doors for food and financial help. Today LARS is staffed by trained social workers and continues to receive financial and volunteer support from its founding faith-based partner organizations. LARS' mission is to enable homeless and low-income people in crisis to achieve stability and long-term self-sufficiency.
