One of my hens got frostbite so bad that her whole comb turned black; I applied the green goo poultry first aid salve and she healed totally from the frostbite, infant almost immediately the blood flow began to appear in spots. Highly recommend green goo, of course best to prevent and apply to the combs before the frostbite of which I do but I must have missed this one that night. All others were fine.
