First thing to work on my eczema in over 15 years!
I’ve had my “eczema patch” on my ankle for more years than I can remember (at the very least 15 years or more). In that time I’ve tried everything known to man. I’ve had the dermatologist throw cream after cream at it with no results. She even tried drugging me motionless in my sleep so I wouldn’t “sleep scratch” it. Yeah, I wasn’t comfortable with any of these treatments that weren’t helping anyway. Then I tried every natural solution I could find. Pure Shea butter. Coconut oil. Essential oils from a certified aromatherapist even! Every lotion, cream, salve, ointment or poultice known to herbalists and even accupressure. Nothing ever did more than moisturizer the area temporarily. Guaranteed within 15 minutes the area would itch insanely and truthfully scratching freshly motioned skin seemed to do more damage (according to how my nails looked after I couldn’t resist any longer). So I basically gave up and slapped lotion on twice a day and hoped for the best. I was used to staring, questions, etc. “Oh, it’s just my eczema patch”. “ No it’s not psoriasis”. “No it’s not a burn.” “No it’s not contagious” Then I saw Green Goo first aid as an add-on purchase for a subscription box service I have. The name caught me at first. And although I had no intention to buy, I noticed the ingredients listed in the picture of the lid. Hmm... natural. Good. But most impressively they were known to be good skin ingredients. Actually... good for eczema. Hmmm?? For the price?…
