The Keep A Breast Foundation - Green Goo's New "We ❤️ Boobies!" Partner

It's Breast Cancer Awareness Month, Did You Know...

  1. Forty percent of diagnosed breast cancers are self-detected (according to the John Hopkins Medical Center)?
  2. More than 300,000 women are diagnosed with breast cancer in the United States each year!
  3. When breast cancer is detected early, in the localized stage, the five-year survival rate is 98 percent.

Green Goo recently partnered with the Keep A Breast Foundation (KAB) to support their efforts to empower young people around the world with breast health education and support. Not only do we donate $.05 for every Green Goo deodorant sale to KAB, but we are also committed to promoting and sharing KAB’s ideas and events and to provide them with Green Goo Deodorant to help in their efforts.

“We had been seeking an organization specifically with our deodorant line that was not only working towards breast cancer awareness and prevention, but also was passionate about a non-toxic environment,” says Green Goo co-founder Jodi Scott. “We wanted to align ourselves with a smaller organization that was synergistic with our efforts and help them grow.”

At Green Goo, we believe in making organic, petroleum-free products that are good for the planet and good for individuals. Our deodorants are made without the harmful chemicals found in standard deodorants. Along with healthy eating and getting outside for fresh air and exercise, we believe fewer toxins in the body improve overall health and wellness.

“This partnership is not only an effort to raise money for their incredible cause to educate the world and prevent cancer,” explained Scott. “And it is also a partnership to clean up our environment and raise awareness that we can reduce harmful cancers from our community by utilizing cleaner, healthier body care products."

“We're super excited that Green Goo will be helping to raise funds for our foundation!” stated Dawn Marie Burns-Rappoport of KAB. Check out the organization, especially their cool new Check Yourself! App. It’s available as a free download on iOS and Android mobile and tablet devices via the Apple App Store and Google Play. The Keep A Breast Foundation Check Yourself! app helps people to establish their own routine and approach to the breast self-check. It teaches women the best ways to check their boobies! and schedules an automatic monthly reminder at the same time.
